An Introduction to Hyperion

Hyperion Solutions was formed from the merger of Hyperion Software (formerly IMRS) and Arbor Software in 1998.In 2007, Oracle acquired Hyperion, a leading provider of performance management software. This transaction extends Oracle's business intelligence capabilities to offer the most comprehensive system for enterprise performance management .

This has been developed with an intension to provide smoother and easier way of doing analysis of your financial data and reporting them. Keeping this mind Oracle has developed end to end solutions which are required to be proven and acceptable like right from picking/loading the data from source system to loading it into target/reporting system.
